- Please pray for all the Eurasia Region teams and the various challenges they face (personnel, funds, planning and implementation).
Daniel Psaute, serving in Slovenia:
- Daniel shares that God has been blessing his home assignment in unusual ways. He has two more districts to visit and several other engagements. Pray for God’s continued protection on the highways and blessing in the churches and classrooms he visits.
- Pray for these three things Daniel will focus on during the next two years in Slovenia: (1) continued development of solid, Spirit-filled Slovene leadership, (2) the establishment of at least two more cell-group house churches in or near Ljubljana, and (3) the distribution of his new book on discipleship, Fragments of Light. It is being translated into Slovene and will be published this year.
- Pray for the discipleship seminar Daniel will lead in Great Britain in October.
- Pray for Daniel’s sister, Linda, and her ministry among East Germans in Neustrelitz and the Neubrandenburg area.
Linda Russell, serving in Russia:
- Pray for Linda’s work visa application, that it is approved for renewal and that she is able to get it in Russia rather than having to leave the country to obtain it.
- Pray that she stays healthy, especially during the busy time of district assemblies and deadlines for translations of VBS materials for summer programs.
- Pray for the young people who will be a part of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) summer VBS traveling teams in Southern Russia, Northern Russia, and Armenia.
- Linda gives thanks for the opportunities that the conversational English classes she teaches gives her to interact with youth and adults. Pray that God will use these times to soften the hearts that are hardened towards Him.
