  • Making Christlike disciples in the nations, especially among developing leaders in next generations of every age.
  
  • Global director of Nazarene Missions International (NMI). Beyond NMI: leader of teams for Nazarene global prayer initiatives, World Mission (WM) partnerships, WM deputation, and the WM Web magazine, Engage.
  
  • Until mid-2006 Daniel and Carol were missionaries on the Eurasia region as field strategy coordinator on the South Asia field with 25% of the world’s population in eight nations, 1,300 students enrolled in SANBC, and 1,900 organized churches on 15 districts, growing by one new organized church per day each year for the last several years.
 
  • Prior to South Asia they served as field strategy coordinator on two fields: Western Mediterranean and Southeastern Europe, including 20 nations across northern Africa and southern Europe.
 
  • Before becoming missionaries, the Ketchum’s served as senior pastor, last at Nampa, Idaho College Church. Daniel, an ordained elder, also served as a general board member, global president of Nazarene Youth International (NYI), district superintendent, and university trustee.
 
  • Both Daniel and Carol are graduates of Northwest Nazarene University. Daniel completed a M.Div. at Nazarene Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. at the University of Idaho focused on Christian formation and spiritual disciplines.
   
  • Their son, Ryan, was worship leader and residential director at Northwest Nazarene University. He and his wife and three children now live in India where they minister as Nazarene volunteer missionaries. Their daughter, Cherie, and husband have two children and serve Oak Harbor Church of the Nazarene near Seattle, she as worship pastor and he as youth pastor.
