Church of the Nazarene Enters 156th World Area At its meeting in February, the General Board voted to officially enter Mali and to seek registration with its government, making it the 156th world areas in which the Church of the Nazarene has a presence. The landlocked Western Africa nation is the seventh largest country on the continent and has a population of more than 12 million. The Church of the Nazarene currently has 4 churches and 39 Nazarenes in the Republic of Mali.

“Entry” into a new world area is confirmation by the General Board that the presence of the Church in that world area is established and sustainable.

Thank You!

We have asked you to give for the World Evangelism Fund. We have asked you to give for Alabaster. We have asked you to give for Haiti recovery. It is high time to say thank you.
Thank you for giving!

Thank you for sacrificing!
Thank you, pastors and people, for bringing offerings to the Lord.
Because you give, God is raising holiness churches around the world.
Because you give, God is developing amazing leaders in global mission.

Engage Magazine Receives K.C. Addy Award Engage magazine, the online global mission publication for the Church of the Nazarene, received a bronze recognition in the Interactive Media category of the 2010 Kansas City Addy Awards in February.

The annual advertising competition is held in cities across America. Premier Studios <www.premierstudios.com>, based in Lenexa, Kansas, designed the Engage Web site, which launched in May 2010.

Found at www.engagemagazine.com, the magazine features personal stories, feature articles, photo essays, videos, and podcasts of Nazarenes around the world engaged in God’s mission. The publication is designed as a gathering place where mission-passionate Nazarenes share mission experiences.

“We’re so proud of Engage and hope it is not only a useful tool in finding out what Nazarenes are doing in mission, but that it is one way God is speaking to many of us about His call to mission in our lives,” said Gina Pottenger, managing editor. Register as a contributor to submit your own mission essays, stories, and photos to share with our global church.
