| General FAQ How can I get a missionary's contact information? To ensure the safety of missionaries, World Mission Department policy requires the General NMI Office to limit distribution of missionary contact information. For missionary addresses and/or E-mail addresses, please contact your district NMI president. Since district presidents have closer contact with local church leaders, the General NMI Office provides district presidents with missionary contact information to disseminate to the appropriate individuals. If you are interested in biographical information about missionaries, such as their profiles and/or pictures, please visit the Missionary Profiles Online.
1. First, if the missionaries are your LINKS missionaries, contact your district LINKS coordinator (or district LINKS secretary). He/she should have photos of the district LINKS missionaries, as well as biographical information, etc. 2. The World Mission Department maintains an online directory of missionaries, called Missionary Profiles Online. Some missionaries' photos are included in their online profile. However, missionaries in Creative Access Areas or areas determined to be sensitive areas may not have online profiles available for their protection. 3. If neither your LINKS coordinator nor the Missionary Profiles Online has what you're looking for, contact the General NMI Office.
Congratulations on your new assignment! The General NMI Office has created a web page just for
new local NMI presidents. Click

(IDOP) is always on the second Sunday in November. Therefore, the 2008
IDOP is November 9. For more information about IDOP or for promotional
resources, visit the IDOP
Web page. When is the Nazarene World Week of Prayer? Where can I get resources? Nazarene World Week of Prayer (NWWP) is scheduled to coincide with World Day of Prayer, which is always the first Friday in March. NWWP always begins the Sunday before the first Friday in March and ends the Saturday after the first Friday in March. Therefore, NWWP 2008 is March 2-March 8, 2008. For the more information about NWWP or for NWWP prayer requests and promotional resources, visit the NWWP Web page. I need a missionary speaker (or Faith Promise speaker). Who should I contact for deputation information? First, contact your district deptuation coordinator
(or deputation secretary). If you still have questions after talking to
your district deputation coordinator, contact the World Mission Deputation
Coordinator: What do I do if I'm not getting my Mission Connection magazine? Can MC be sent to my home address? There are three things you need to do: 1.Two copies of Mission Connection (MC) magazine are sent to the church, "Attention: NMI President." Check with your local NMI president to see if he/she has received the magazines. 2. Check with the individual(s) who receive(s) the church mail. Remind the individual to watch for a large white envelope with the MC logo printed on the front. Ensure he/she gives the MC envelope to the NMI president. 3. Once you have completed the above steps and you still have not located MC, contact the General NMI Office The NMI Office will confirm that MC is being sent to the correct address. The General NMI Office is unable to send MC to individuals because it is more cost effective to send MC directly to the church. We rely on local churches to ensure MC magazine is given to the NMI President. |
