Aimee Curtis Biography:
Aimee grew up in South Korea as a missionary kid. She
is the daughter of former Nazarene missionaries Roy and Sue Stults. Aimee
attended high school in Manila, Philippines. She earned a B.A. in English
and communication at MidAmerica Nazarene University and an M.A. in education
at the University of Kansas, with a concentration in teaching English
as a second language.
Prior to joining the NMI Office team part-time, Aimee served for five
years as assistant director of graduate education at Avila University
in Kansas City. She also served six years as senior copywriter for Summit
Marketing Group in Lenexa, Kansas, and as an English instructor at Johnson
County Community College, also in Kansas. She holds professional membership
in Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
Aimee has been published in World Mission magazine and the Salvation Army's
Bed & Bread and Hope on the Homefront. She has written NMI children’s
and adult missions books, as well as portions of the children's mission
education curriculum. She has edited for Cornerstone Counseling Group,
plus resources for children's musicals by Lillenas Publishing Company.
Aimee and her husband, Tim, have a 5-month-old daughter, Lilly.
