Ketchum
- Making Christlike disciples in the nations, especially among Gen-Next
emerging leaders.
- Global director of Nazarene Missions International (NMI) and beyond
NMI: director of Nazarene global prayer initiatives, WM deputation,
WM personalizing missions, WM partnerships, and WM publications.
- Until 2006 Daniel and Carol were missionaries on the Eurasia region
as field strategy coordinator on the South Asia field with 25% of world
population in 8 nations, 1,400 students enrolled in SANBC, 1,800 organized
churches on 14 districts, increasing nearly one organized church per
day last year (337 new organized churches in 2005-06).
- Prior to South Asia they also served as field strategy coordinator
on the Western Mediterranean and Southeastern Europe fields, including
20 nations across northern Africa and southern Europe.
- Before becoming missionaries, the Ketchum’s served as senior
pastor, last at Nampa College Church in Idaho. Daniel also served as
global president for Nazarene Youth International (NYI), district superintendent,
and university trustee.
- Both Daniel and Carol are graduates of Northwest Nazarene University.
Daniel completed the M.Div. at Nazarene Theological Seminary and the
Ph.D. at the University of Idaho focused on Christian formation and
spiritual disciplines.
- Their son is residential director and chapel worship leader at Northwest
Nazarene University, where he lives with his wife and three children.
Their daughter and husband have one child and serve Oak Harbor Church
of the Nazarene near Seattle as worship pastor and youth pastor.
