Gina Pottenger Biography:

Gina grew up in St. Charles, Missouri, and is the daughter of Rev. Gene and Ronoyce Grate. She is a 1998 graduate of Northwest Nazarene University, with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.

Prior to joining the NMI and World Mission teams, Gina spent five years as a reporter with the Idaho Press-Tribune and The Gazette newspapers, and about two years as the publicity coordinator at JESUS Film Harvest Partners. In addition, she served for six months as a NIVS at the Eurasia Regional Office, and has published three children’s mission books.

In November 2006, she married Andrew Pottenger in Colorado Springs. In her free time, Gina is an avid photographer, hikes in the Rocky Mountains and loves to travel internationally.
